Amazon River
We traveled up stream some 2,000 miles which is just about midway up the Amazon. This river is unbelievable. One fact, the ocean at the mouth of the river is fresh water until about 100 miles out from the shore. We stopped in Santerèm, Parantin, and Manus. Altogether we spent eight days on the river.
